USask announces incoming associate vice-president, development
Kimberly Kroll-Goodwin (BA’03, Arts’06, BusAdm’13) joined the University Relations leadership team at the University of Saskatchewan (USask) on October 5, 2023.
In this role, Kroll-Goodwin will provide leadership and vision to campus-wide development and fundraising initiatives to maximize long-term resource generation in support of the university’s vision.
Kroll-Goodwin brings a wealth of experience in leadership and fundraising to this leadership position, working 12-plus years in the non-profit sector. A passionate, results-oriented leader, she is committed to building the culture of teamwork and collaboration.
For eight years, Kroll-Goodwin worked with STARS where she established and led a team of fundraisers within Saskatchewan and Alberta. In this role she developed province-wide community engagement and stakeholder relations strategies and coordinated all community engagement and event programs. Kim served as the Director and Capital Campaign Director at DCG Philanthropic Services during a critical time where she directed the National Capital Campaign for the Humboldt Bronco Tribute Memorial. Most recently, she served as the Executive Director of Leadership Saskatoon where she was responsible for leadership and management of the organization.

Kroll-Goodwin is from Saskatchewan and a proud USask alumna. She has two Bachelor of Arts degrees and a Business Administration Certificate. In 2022, she obtained a Master of Business Administration, Community Economic Development. She holds the Certified Fundraising Executive designation and has extensive volunteer experience supporting the Canadian Hemophilia Society, National Philanthropy Day Saskatoon and the Warman Minor Hockey Association.
