STUDENT-ATHLETES
THE WORLD NEEDS

Huskie Athletics is responsible for developing leaders in our communities.

Huskie Athletics is comprised of 15 different athletic teams that compete in the Canada West Universities Athletic Association.

With 129 Canada West Championships and 27 U SPORTS championships under its belt, Huskie Athletics is one of the most dominant programs in the country. Home to over 2,550 all-stars since 1920, Huskie Athletics strives each year to provide quality programs for athletes while they prepare for the future.

TEAM FUNDS

Investing in a team fund makes an instant impact by enhancing the student-athlete experience. The fund will increase our teams’ annual budgets for recruiting, performance training, coaching support, non-conference travel, equipment, scholarships, and nutritional needs.

Donors can give to their Huskie Athletics program of choice. These investments are essential for competing as a top program in the country.

Featured Projects:

The Huskie Men’s hockey program has always had its sights set on long-term, sustained excellence. However, our student-athletes need even more support to meet the demands of training and competing at the highest level.

The Huskie Men’s Hockey Excellence Fund has been created to help our program consistently be a top five program in the country. Together, with your generosity, we will be able to support player and coach development, recruitment, academic development for our student-athletes, as well as scholarships.

You can give to both the Men's Hockey Excellence Trust or Annual Fund. Donations to the trust fund are invested and the capital is protected with a 5 per cent annual payout. Entire donations to the annual fund are available to be spent on an annual basis.

Monies raised through this fund annually support the team for specialized equipment, travel, training, nutrition and generation operations of the Huskie Women's Hockey team. The primary focus on this fund is to enhance the student-athlete experience here at the University of Saskatchewan.

The Huskie Football Starting 24 Fund allows donors to enhance and elevate the student-athlete experience. INSPIRE STUDENTS
TO SUCCEED

Representing the Huskies is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for our student-athletes. However, it takes a team effort to ensure our Huskies can compete at the highest level in their sport and excel in the classroom simultaneously.

With your gift, we can ensure that student-athletes have access to the modern supports, resources, and training required to compete at the highest level.
