Many employers support charitable giving by matching donations made by their employees, retirees, or employees’ spouses. Taking advantage of a matching gift program is an easy way to increase support for students, research, and learning at USask.

If you’re unsure whether your employer offers a matching gift program, your human resources department can help confirm your eligibility.

Requesting a matching gift is straightforward:

• Confirm eligibility with your employer (or your spouse’s employer).
• Make your donation to the University of Saskatchewan.
• Submit your employer’s matching gift request, either online or using their matching gift form.
• USask will confirm the gift with your employer and apply the matching funds to the same area you supported.

Some organizations have deadlines for submitting matching gift requests. These timelines vary by employer.
