USask Giving Day is on Sept. 9, 2026
For one day only, every gift to USask will be matched up to $1,000 per gift, while matching funds last, doubling the impact of your support.
Matching funds are generously provided by donors who want to inspire others to join them in supporting students, advancing research and strengthening programs that enrich communities across Saskatchewan and beyond!
Giving Day 2026: Scholarship opens doors for future engineer Brianna Gratton
As the first in her family to attend university, Brianna Gratton faced a lot of uncertainty as she considered her post-secondary options. But that all changed when she learned she was a recipient of the University of Saskatchewan Chancellor’s Circle of Honour Scholarship.
MATCHING DETAILS
$30,000 in matching funds is available thanks to the generous support of alumni Cheryl Hamelin (BSHEC'88) and Scott (BComm'69) and Grit McCreath (BEd'91).
An additional $11,000 in matching funds is available for gifts to the Engineering Advancement Fund through the support of the Engineer Advancement Trust (EAT). Engineering Advancement Fund gifts are eligible for this match only.
All gifts will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $1,000 per gift.
Gifts will be matched until the matching pools are expended.
SPIN TO GIVE
Attention USask students! Join us in Upper Place Riel on September 9 from 10 am to 2 pm for SPIN TO GIVE, a free USask Giving Day activity that lets students be a donor for a day. Spin the wheel, earn USask Bucks, and direct real donor-funded dollars to one of four areas: mental health and student wellness, food security, scholarships and bursaries, or emergency financial support.
Special thanks to donors Gord (BComm’72) and Maureen (BEd’70) Haddock and Greg (BComm'79) and Rae Smith who have generously provided a total of $15,000 for students to allocate through this activity.
