"This award is solely responsible for me being able to attend university this year. I am disabled, with severe pain, tremors, and fluid filled lungs. I want to thank the donors to the Centennial Fund for giving me this opportunity, as I have made connections and friends that will last me my entire life."
- HANNA MCLAUGHLIN, BIOMEDICAL STUDENT (COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCE)

"I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the donors of this award that I am honoured and blessed to have received. Being awarded the Chancellors' Scholarship allows and inspires me to explore more freely a career wherein my passion truly lies. I am incredibly grateful to be a recipient of this generous scholarship!"

INSPIRING OUR BEST
Last year, 66 students received financial support through the Chancellors’ and President’s First and Best Scholarship Fund and the Centennial Fund.
Your support of these scholarships and bursaries allows top USask students to concentrate on their education and thrive as they prepare to become the next generation of leaders in our society.

"I am sincerely honored to have been selected as a recipient of the George and Marsha Ivany President’s First and Best Scholarship! Furthering my education wouldn’t have been possible without generous support from scholarship donors like yourself. Thank you for making this possible and helping me achieve my dream! "

SUPPORTING STUDENTS
IN CRITICAL TIMES
Last year, 25 international students from 17 different countries impacted by conflict and unrest were supported through the Students at Risk Fund.
The Nasser Family Emergency Student Trust also provided crucial support to students across our campuses. In total, more than $55,000 was distributed to aid 65 students in crisis.
With your support of these critical funds, students facing difficult situations received the help they needed to overcome unforeseen challenges and continue their studies at USask.

ENRICHING THE STUDENT EXPERIENCE
Thanks to you, USask continues to expand and enhance experiential learning opportunities across our campuses, allowing students to gain the knowledge they need to solve the complex challenges facing our world now and in the future.
The President’s Student Experience Fund helps ensure a high-quality student experience by funding athletics, recreation, scholarships and bursaries, and educational conference opportunities, including study-abroad programs.
In 2024-25, the President's Student Experience Fund supported a wide range of initiatives led by the University of Saskatchewan Students’ Union (USSU), the Department of Music’s Amati string instruments, and the Sorokin Lecture hosted by the Department of Sociology in the College of Arts and Science.

“This has been an incredible year for the University of Saskatchewan. Thank you for being a valued contributor to the largest fundraising campaign ever seen in Saskatchewan—the Be What the World Needs campaign. Your contributions have helped thousands of students overcome financial barriers to realize their full potential as they study in their chosen fields. Thank you.”
- PETER STOICHEFF, PRESIDENT AND VICE-CHANCELLOR
