I am extremely thankful to the donors for the opportunity to focus on my academics and further my passion for learning without the stress of needing financial support. Being able to continue my education while trying new clubs, meeting new friends, and getting involved in communities filled with those who are just as excited about growing, are all valuable experiences that I will always cherish.

THANKS TO YOU

Your support is changing lives. Thanks to your generosity, USask students are developing the experience and knowledge they need to be the leaders of tomorrow.

We are truly grateful for your support of scholarships, awards, bursaries and emergency funds over the last year.

Thank you for inspiring confidence in our students and providing them with opportunities to pursue their goals and truly be what the world needs.

Through your support of the University of Saskatchewan, over the past year, your support has helped our students be what the world needs. 1929 generous donors supported student financial aid. 3027 donor-funded scholarships and bursaries. 115 new awards established this year. $17 M received to support scholarships and bursaries.

I am a neurodiverse Indigenous woman who is a wheelchair user and has other medical diagnoses. Financial support like this means I can meet the needs of my home and family and hold my head high. I am looking forward to graduation, as that milestone means I can make a difference for other Indigenous peoples. I know I want to help them any way I can, or wherever I am needed.

EILEEN LENNIE-KOSHMAN, INDIGENOUS STUDIES STUDENT (COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCE)

Receiving this award has reinforced my confidence and reminded me that my hard work and perseverance are seen and valued. It has motivated me to continue pushing forward as a role model for my children. My experience at USask has been enriched by a sense of belonging and encouragement, and this award reflects a community that supports parent-student journeys. I am grateful for this recognition.

MOTIVATING
THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW

You are making dreams possible.

Last year, 82 students received financial support through the Chancellors’ and President’s First and Best Scholarship Fund and the Centennial Fund.

Your generosity in funding these scholarships and bursaries empowers outstanding USask students to fully focus on their studies and excel, as they grow into the future leaders of our communities.

"Thank you for your generous investment in my education. Receiving this scholarship has allowed me to fully draw on the knowledge and experience the Mechanical Engineering program at the University of Saskatchewan offers. Removing the pressure of financial obligations has given me the freedom to pursue all my passions at the university without worrying about part-time work."

SUPPORTING
 STUDENTS
IN CRISIS

The Nasser Emergency Trust provides crucial support to USask students facing unexpected difficulties. In the 2025-26 fiscal year, the fund provided more than $30,150 in aid to 20 students across a variety of colleges and academic programs.

Your support provides financial relief, but it is your compassion and commitment that shows students they don’t have to navigate overwhelming challenges alone. Your gifts help keep their goals within reach and remind them that you believe in them and their future.

AMPLIFYING
THE STUDENT EXPERIENCE

Because of your generosity, the President’s Student Experience Fund continues to enhance the quality of student life by supporting opportunities that foster learning, celebrate achievement, and build community.

In 2025-26, the President's Student Experience Fund supported initiatives across our campuses, including the Sorokin Lecture, the Black Faculty and Staff Caucus Award, the Graduate Students Association Award, Huskie Athletics Sponsorships and more.

Over the last year, your contributions have created tangible outcomes across our campuses and communities. Your generosity has supported hundreds of scholarships and bursaries, helping students from diverse backgrounds pursue their education and focus on their studies and future goals. Thank you for the trust you place in this institution and for the role you play in shaping its future.
