While the University accepts a wide array of gifts (both cash and in-kind), the University's Board of Governors ultimately reserves the right to accept or decline any gift. The Board's primary interest is to ensure that all gifts are receipted according to Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) regulations and guidelines and that the University can adequately and appropriately serve the donor's intent. We track anonymity as it relates to the University's public recognition of donors. Anonymous donors must provide personal information for tax purposes, but that information will remain confidential within the University Advancement Office. In all University and public announcements, the gift(s) will be kept 'anonymous' if requested by the donor.
